A Lifestyle of Worship

One of the definitions of the word Worship is “reverent honor and homage paid to God”. Using this definition, it is clear that Sunday morning services should be called worship services. The challenge or limitation of a Sunday morning service, however, is that at some point it will end. What then becomes of worship?

We want to encourage you to consider every aspect of your life as an opportunity to reverence God. No matter what you do for work or play, you can find opportunities to honor God. There is not an area of your lives where it is inappropriate to Worship God. Colossians 3:23 states, “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men...”. If you allow Him, God will use your whole life as an example of His goodness, mercy and grace. Let us not limit our Worship simply to Sunday mornings. Submit completely to Him daily. In doing so, we will develop a Lifestyle of Worship that we live out.
